Houston Instruction School—Class of Motormen the number of day and night trips the student makes withhim, as well as the kind of brake used on the car. Theobject of these requirements is to make sure that each stu-dent is entirely acquainted with all types of brake equip-ment and that he has made a sufficient number of nighttrips over each line to become thoroughly familiar with theroute after dark.
