Saadat Ali Khan was a known ruler and was among the 6th Nawab Vizier (or the Wazir) of Awadh. This tomb encompasses him and his favorite wife called Murshid. Near the Begum Hazrat Mahal Park there is Nawab Saadat Ali Khan's mausoleum. It was built by Saadat Ali Khan's son to memorialize his father as nawab wazir
