Model on catwalk at Fyodor and Golan fashion in motion show at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Face paint and mask.

Fashion in Motion is a series of live fashion events presented against the unique backdrop of the Victoria and Albert Museum. Featuring some of the greatest designers of our time, Fashion in Motion brings the excitement and spectacle of the high fashion catwalk to a wide audience. Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman are the designers behind the creative label Fyodor Golan. In 2010 they debuted with their A/W 12 collection Pagan Poetry and in 2011 they won the Fashion Fringe award with their collection Flowers of Evil. Describing their ethos as Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde they explore differences rather then similarities. Through an expressive dialogue the designers look for purity in shape and form and for an integrity in textures and detailing, using these elements to create their signature. Painting is their core and provides a constant source of inspiration through which they create shapes and proportions, mirroring these into garments. Their conceptualist approach fuses beautiful hand detailing and fabric manipulation, inspired by the intricacies of nature.
