March 16, 1876.—Plaster of Parisjacket was applied. 2Iay 20.—The boy retm-ned tohave jacket seen to. Has been per-fectly comfortable since last improved considerably. Jacketnot disturbed, as it is still in goodcondition, as seen in the engi-aving froma photograph (see fig. 20), and the boyexercises freely without pain or incon-venience.^. Case XII.—Fehruary 10, 1876.—W. A. Lyon, aged foiu-years, 127 Morton Street, Jersey City, sent by Dr. Craig, withPotts disease, eighth, ninth, and tenth dorsal vertebrie, ofeighteen months standing, caused by falling downstairs. Tay-lors brace apphed July 20, 1875 ; has worn it ever since. Atthat time deformity very slight (as the parents say). Present January 8, 1877. Perfect consolidation, with, scarcely perceptibledeformity when naked, and imperceptible when dressed.
