The Sant Miquel church. XIII century. Montblanc. The church of Sant Miquel de Montblanc is one of the oldest in the town. They celebrated Catalan Corts years 1307 and 1370 is documented for the first time in 1288 and its construction dates from the second half of the thirteenth century. It is part of a kind of temple, predominantly rural, found especially in the New Catalonia and Valencia regions of Mallorca and after the conquest of Jaume I. San Miguel, from its origin, it is a temple of a single ship and flat head with five diaphragm arches of transverse tear inner abutments to support a wooden roof to double slope.
