No separateterminal is used but the end of the ground lead isformed into a loop of proper size to fit over the tapbolt. The leads, of proper length for each type ofmotor, are made up in the electrical department. Afterthe loop is shaped it is carefully wound with copperwire and then thoroughly tinned, thus making a thor-oughly solid terminal. Attention is particularly called to the short sectionof insulation left on the end of the lead which issolidly clamped to the lead proper by means of a figure-8metal clamp.
