(April 24, 2016) - Construction Electrician Constructionman Christopher Vazquez, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, tightens down a bolt while erecting a Mabey Johnson Bridge during the battalion’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
