B., the subject of thissketch, is next in the order of birth; Polly, bornApril 4, 1820, married James Van Camp, and died atHollisterville, Salem township, Wayne Co., Penn.,April 26, 1895. Marcus N. B. Killam was born February 6,1815, in Palmyra township, Pike county, where hehas passed his entire life in rural pursuits. Duringhis youth he attended the common schools, and heassisted his father in the work upon the farm and inthe lumber woods until he reached the age of thirtyyears, when he took entire charge of both. Theyowned large tracts of valuable timber land, in Pikeand Wayne counties, but, in 1869, our subject sold3,400 acres to Farnham Collingwood & Co., besides.
