Hurricane Katrina, New Roads, LA, November 28, 2005 - Kate Cottrell was less than two weeks into her first teaching job at Sarah T. Reed High School in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit. She is now working for FEMA, assisting local residents at a Disaster Recovery Center in Point Coupee Parish.
