Flying frogs hanging out on a tree branch INDONESIA THESE HILARIOUS images show flying frogs looking like they are avoiding flooding by climbing a tree branch to hang out above the water with their friends. Approximately three to four months old, these cute little frogs are three inches in height and weigh around 80 grams or lbs. Like any other species of frogs, flying frogs are also very social creatures and live in groups called colonies or armies. These frogs live almost exclusively in trees and only descend from them to mate and lay eggs. This species of frog is known as the flying frog because of its ability to jump very far, 40 to 50 feet and achieve gliding flight; it is also sometimes known as a gliding frog.
