The very long table inthe centre of the room with its writingmaterials and its many chairs suggests thechapter meetings and the many confer-ences which take place here. The Stained Glass is much older thanthe present room and would be of muchinterest if only because there is so littleold glaiss remaining in the Abbey. Itdoubtless belonged originally in thechurch.
