The "Star Spangled Banner" Cen- tennial started in Baltimore Septem- ber 6 with a great musical chorus of 5,000 voices and there will be a week of gayety and festive doings. The floats in the different parades were' extensively decorated with flowers; no matter what the design of deco- ration, flowers were used.
