USS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7), USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO-199), and USS Rushmore (LSD 47) navigate alongside each other during a replenishment at sea aboard USS New Orleans (LPD 18) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 15, 2022. LPD 18 conducted a RAS with T-AKE 7 to restock on food, supplies and mail. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific Region.
