Our new Gloxinias are great improvements over tbe other sorts, with large, luxuriant leaves that recurve in such a man- ner as to conceal the pot they grow in, and erect, large throated, wide-lobed flowers borne above the foliage like a floral crown. These flowers are very large and satin - like and of tbe most exquisite coloring,- soft, clear or brilliant, sometimes self-colored, but more often tinted, spotted or ed?ed with contrasting colors, but always rich and beautiful. Emperop William—Enormous size. Outside pearly white, inside ultamarine-blue with wide white border. Tigrina — A light delicate pink, thickly spotted. Montblanc — The largest and finest of all white sorts. Defiance — Dark, deep, rich crimson-scarlet. Violacea—Deep, rich violet-blue. Emperor Frederick — Red, white border; very distinct and fine.
