In the opening from the doe's hutch to her nesting compartment, never make a round hole for her to en- ter, but make an opening from the top of hutch to within four inches of the bottom, say eight inches wide; that insures the doe freedom from knocking her ears, as she would in passing through a round hole, and also insures all foul air being carried away.
