The windowsat Sens abound in some of the most magnificent grisailleglass, with coloured borders, to be found in France, andthe cathedral at Auxerre has more of the same kind. It is remarkable that the large vaulted triforium of TheSenlis, Noyon, and still later churches, has been abandonedat Sens in favour of one that anticipates those of Reimsand Chartres.
