Viking feast at Chieftan's house at the Lofotr Viking Museum in Borg, Norway. Visitors learn about Viking life and eat a Viking meal with the Chieftan and his family in the banquet hall. The Event includes traditional food, costumes, singing and dancing. The meal includes only food that Vikings would have eaten, cooked in a traditional manner. Here we see a plate of simple flat bread, cooked barley, lamb, carrots, yams and sour cream along with a glass of home brewed mead, a honey based alcoholic drink.
