Graffiti - comment on the politics of graffiti, with added graffiti of David Bowie posing as 'Aladdin Sane' plus Banksy s 'rat'

Graffiti as comment on the politics of graffiti. This site had a prior graffiti by Banksy which commented on child labour involved in producing tat souvenirs for the Queens Jubilee; this was 'stolen' from the site and sold in US for £450, 000. In the bottom right corner is a rat holding a little banner saying "why", this was added by Banksy when he returned to the site following the "theft" of his original work. Graffiti of David Bowie posing in 'Aladdin Sane' striped body suit, with halo of stars, tribute by Pegasus of TAG (Turnpike Art Group, a collective of street artists based around Turnpike Lane, North London). The piece appeared in North London as a tribute following David Bowie s Death January 10 2016. The costume was designed by Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto for the Alladin Sane Tour 1973.
