Blood-pressure, 130 mm. hg. February i. Patient is very noisy and delirious. Blood-cultureshows pure growth of streptococcus pyogenes aureus. He lies withhead much retracted and neck apparently stift. DeHrium is activeand noisy. Kernigs sign is present. Heart: Apex is in fifth spacejust within mammary line, left limit of dulness corresponds. There isno increase of dulness to right. Endocardial sounds normal.
