Black and white with selective color. The Teatro Fossati (1859) with terracotta decorations, including a statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi, Milan, Italy

The Fossati Theatre was founded by the entrepreneur Carlo Fossati and opened in 1959. The theatre has two facades, one towards Via Rivoli, the other, on Corso Garibaldi, adorned with terracotta decorations by Andrea Boni, including a statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi. After a phase of neglect and degradation, it was restored by the will of Giorgio Strehler, who inserted it into the wider theatrical system constituted with the Piccolo Teatro. Since then it is known as Piccolo Teatro Studio or Teatro Studio Melato.
