Wolfe, a former mem-ber of the Legislature, has been a success-ful lawyer in the City of LaPorte for overtwenty years, and has also been prominentin the democratic party in that section ofthe state. Mr. Wolfe had a log cabin as his birth-place, where he was born December 16,1875. This log cabin stood in LaGraugeCounty, close to the line of Noble grandfather, George Wolfe, was a na-tive of Pennsylvania and of early Englishancestry.
