170810-N-ME396-675 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 10, 2017) An F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to the "Tomcatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 31 breaks the sound barrier during an airpower demonstration over the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77) during an air power demonstration rehearsal.
