Armed & armoured French monoplane, WW1
From the history of the Great war published in 1921. Plane is not named but it is likely to be a Morane Type L designed in 1914 as it was the first aircraft armed with a fixed machine gun that fired through the propeller arc, and it's from volume 1 relating to the first year of the war.
