Scales 44-48, lat. tr. j£& ; 6^ to 7* rows of scales between lateral line and root of ventral, 20 rows round caudal peduncle. Colour (of preserved specimens), brown above, flesh colour on belly. Four specimens, ranging from 178-218 mm. in length, from Zak Eiver, Fraserburg, Cape Province (Mr. Jacobs)..
