The Association convened pursuant to adjournment ateleven oclock, A. M. The Introductory Sermon was preached by Elder W. from Ephesians hi: 15. Of whom the whole fam-ily in Heaven and earth is named. Subject: The Family of Christ. After an intermission for refreshments, The Association was called to order by Brother N. , the former moderator, and led in piayer byElder T. H. Pritchard. The former clerk being absent, J. S. Joyner was electedclerk pro. tern. The list of churches was called, the letters read, dele-gates enrolled and officers elected to-wit: E. Cannady,Moderator; J. S. Joyner, Clerk and S. H. Dunn, Treasurer. Corresponding messengers and visiting brethren wereinvited to seats, and the invitation was responded to byElder J. P. Montague. B. F. Hester and Elijah Winstonfrom the Flat Eiver Association, and Bro. Eobert Stray-horn
