These deceptively simple images are from an old trade publication, painted in 1938 for the Dunlop company. The illustrations are full of life despite their size. The colour image, three people stood around in a door way, probably discussing the weather is skilfully painted by illustrator Evelyn Bowmar who also did some vintage post-War Ladybird books.
