Walking is a key feature of the Greek island of Andros with many organised walks being held throughout the summer months. The usual itinery is to get a coach, mini bus or a series of taxis to a high inland village and then to walk down interesting paths to a coastal village. There you would eat lunch and then get the bus back to your starting point or holiday location. One such village high in the hills, has a number of cool springs where everyone's water bottles are filled ready for the journey ahaed.
