The comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas (in the upper half of the picture on the left) was also spotted in Switzerland. The weather conditions only allowed for a short, cloud-free window. The photo was taken in Lucerne in central Switzerland, looking west. The left part of the landscape is illuminated by the full moon, which also lit up the night as a supermoon behind the photographer.
