A fine percussion rifle, Kehlner in Prague, circa 1840. Octagonal Damascus barrel with original bluing, lightly stained in places. Eight-groove rifled bore in mm calibre and dovetailed sights. The signature "A. Kehlner in Prag" inlaid over the breech in gold. Richly engraved snail and tang with the gold inlaid inscription "Prag", and a golden escutcheon with the monogram "B".
