A number of Easter lilies coming into bloom also was a surprise, but Mr. Morley said these were from bulbs locally grown. A magnificent location is that of the Bridges mansion, on Point Loma, and while the garden is as yet to some ex- tent in the transition stage, there is no doubt that before long it will be one of the famous places of the neighborhood. In the first place, Mrs. Bridges takes the greatest kind of personal interest in the garden, and when her likes and wishes are carried out by such an excel- lent gardeneii and landscape man as Ebb- ert Armstrong, there need be no fear as to the result.
