Members of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and technical union Bectu at the BBC walk out over job losses and increased workload resulting from cost-cutting measures at the Corporation. This action follows the earlier walkout in February in protest at the Delivering Quality First cost-cutting measures, introduced in response to the BBC's licence fee settlement in 2010.
