India Khajuraho - 24 February 2011 - Vendor and customers with toddler are in the market for some shoes at a typical shoe store in a rural village. A shoe store, not larger than a small garage box, is the only place to buy footwear in a small rural village. The vendor has all the shoe-boxes in his possession with in arms length. A plastic chair serves as a seat for the customer trying new shoes. Customers leave the old shoes on the steps. Blue and yellow boards advertise the store and its shoes.
