Yale First Nation members landing their catch of Salmon from the Fraser River in Yale, Canada
In the late 1800's, this was the furthest navigable destination for the stern-wheeler boats on the Fraser River. Just upstream from here, the river passes through the Fraser Canyon. Prospectors and miners would disembark and transfer to wagons on the Cariboo Wagon Road to get to the gold fields of central British Columbia.
