Baby giraffe. UK: ADORABLE IMAGES show a baby giraffe exploring his enclosure by his mother?s side. One image shows baby Wilfred sticking out his head curiously at the photographer, pulling a face. Wilfred the reticulated giraffe was born on Remembrance Day 2022 and is four months old. These images were captured by photographer and project manager Nikki Rowley-Todd at Whipsnade Zoo in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, using a Nikon D600 camera. ?It was the second time I?d visited that month as the first visit was very unsuccessful so when this little guy came wandering out into the viewing area, I was over the moon,? said Nikki. ?He actually had a mad five minutes running back and forth just like a domestic dog does, it was great to see. ?I?m a huge fan of taking images of young animals as their just amazing to see and have such characters. ?Before starting photography I had never seen any of them so every image like this is a new experience for me. ?It?s truly amazing that we are able to see these extraordinary animals up close in the UK and to see them thriving is mediadrumimages/NikkiRowley-Todd
