Non Exclusive: 10 January 2024 Sylhet-Bangladesh: Hundreds of farmers have come from remote areas of the upazila to sell vegetables grown by themselves in boats at Charbazar of Surma River adjacent to Kanighat upazila Kanighat market. For more than 50 years after the independence war of Bangladesh, local farmers have been selling vegetables here during Paus, Magh and Phalguna months of Bangla Calendar year, and traders from different markets of Sylhet have been buying and selling vegetables at wholesale prices. The photo was taken between 6 am and 7:30 am on Wednesday. The market sits for 2/3 hours every day and farmers do business more than 2 lac TK each day.
