SAN DIEGO (June 13, 2017) Aviation Electrician’s Mate 3rd Class Scott Melton, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), hits a softball during a game for Gator Week at Admiral Baker Park. Gator Week is an annual event hosted by Expeditionary Strike Group Three. The week consists of various sporting events and competitions, culminating with the Gator Ball. The event is designed to build camaraderie and teamwork across the strike group.
