Maj. Charles Tenney, 23d Security Forces Squadron commander, offers opening remarks for Moody’s celebration of Police Week, May 14, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Police Week is celebrated in May of each year and is a national effort to recognize and honor law enforcement members who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Moody’s 2018 celebration includes a security forces muster, a 5k run, a vehicle showcase with vehicles from the Valdosta Police Department and the Georgia State Patrol as well as memorial ceremonies.
