A very fine French silver-mounted and gold-inlaid flintlock shotgun,Nicolas Noel Boutet,Paris circa 1820. Two-stage barrel(newly blued)with smooth bore in 15 mm calibre,octagonal breech section then round,with silver front sight and gold-plated vent hole. Rich,floral and geometric gold inlays with engraved borders over the muzzle and the breech. Barrel underneath stamped "Boutet","NB"(Stöckel 97)and "Manu Vlles". Iron flintlock(upper jaw replaced)with rainproof,gold-filled pan(one small burst on the rim). Sliding safety and frizzen on rollers. Fin,Additional-Rights-Clearences-Not Available
