The Cathedral of Saint Domnius is located at Peristil in the heart of Dioceltian's Palace. The bell tower is dedicated to Sv Duje. The cathedral was named after Saint Duje (Saint Dujam, or Saint Domnius) who is the patron saint of Split. The Bell Tower dates back to 1100 AD and the bells from 1700. The cathedral contains the relics of Saint Duje which form the central part of the parade along Riva each 7th of May during the Sudamja celebration in Split, Croatia.
