Wat Muang at Ang Thong province is known for its imposing golden seated Buddha (Phra Buddha Maha Nawamin) which at 92m, is the tallest statue currently in Thailand. The temple compound also features graphic depictions of Heaven and Hell, and scenes from classic epics as the Ramayana, as well as a silver temple with a mirrored image hall which houses Thailand's first and largest silver holy Buddha image.
