The vestibule is sheathed in steel and hasa folding door at the right hand side. To facilitate the entranceand exit of passengers, the doors arc placed at the side nearestthe platform opening, instead of in the center, the longitudinalseats being cut away for a short distance at each end for thispurpose. The seats are .spring upholstered, covered with plush carpeting:bronze trimmings are used throughout. Eleven windows on eachside and three in the ventilating sash at each end guarantee goodlight and air. The bodies are mounted on No. 27-F trucks, whichare equipped with four 12 A No. 30 nose suspension W. P. West-ingbouse motors; these enable the cars to make the highest speedpermitted In the city or suburbs.
