George Müller (1805-1898), a Christian evangelist, minister, and missionary, pioneered some of the earliest faith orphanage homes in Bristol, England in the 1830s. Relying on prayer and faith, rather than solicitation of funds from others, Müller would care for 10,024 orphans during his lifetime. He established 117 schools which offered Christian education to more than 120,000.
