The Myrtles plantation located in St Francisville, La., built in 1796 is said to be one of the most haunted properties in the United States. Home of General David Bradford, leader of whiskey rebellion in Pennsylvania. Refusing to pay one of the first federal taxes. Land was former burial grounds for ancient Tunica tribe and Bradford needed to get a Spanish land grant to built on what was known as "west Florida."
