African Elephants running at speed across open grassland, these youngsters and little ones were racing to catch up with the herd


Elephants are very social and herds are usually made up of females and there offspring males in their teens move off and usually bond and form herds with other males of their age and will accompany old bulls. As can be seen in this image these little ones and adolescent in the background felt very insecure about been left behind as the herd was moving off to forage and hence the need to accelerate to catch up to the herd across the plain.
