10th JULY 2021, BRECON BEACONS, SOUTH WALES. PICTURE STORY. A Red Kite pictured in flight at a feeding station in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. The birds are now a common site in the skies around the UK as numbers continue to grow after being saved from national extinction by one of the world's longest-running protection programmes. The feeding centre in the tiny village of Llanddeusant, provide food for the Kites most days, and is open to the public.
