Interlacing needlepoint lace with rosettes, Elongated u-shaped interlacing needlepoint lace, reticella or carved work. Possibly from a bed sheet. The lattice work of the pattern consists of one row of large squares, each square composed of four small squares. In the large squares, two types of rosettes are made alternately. One with eight punctuated points and the other with eight pointed oval points connected by triangles. Worked on two-sided extracted linen, ground with both festered and gimped bars, partly picotated. Full work with buttonhole stitches, no decorative stitches. Top and bottom
