Washington DC. July 4th 1993 Fireworks light up the skies over the US Capitol and the Washington Monument. These pictures were taken from on top of the roof of the Robert F. Kennedy football stadium, which is just over 1 mile directly east of the Capitol building. The pictures are time exposures on slide film and are NOT multiple images pieced together via Photoshop. Each picture is one frame of film with exposure times of up to 2 minutes each.
