Wild fire on The Roaches. 10 Fire and Rescue engines in attendance, approximately 60 fire fighters, from Leek, Cheadle, Hanley, Stoke, Newcastle, Buxton fire stations. The wild fire was caused by 2 young people having a fire to cook their lunch, they realised the fire needed putting out and went to the nearest house and asked for some water.
