Inver Aulavaig (N) Bronze Age round cairn & cist, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK, looking NW over Loch Eishort to the Cuillin Hills. The N of 2 cairns & cists just E of the inlet to the Allt an Leth-bheinn stream below Sron Daraich. When the cist was opened in the C19th a crouched skeleton was discovered inside. The remains were placed overnight in the nearby schoolhouse where "weird whistlings and other uncanny noises" disrupted the sleep of the inhabitants. When the school was demolished & the building stones removed another cist was discovered within the foundations. There is a similar cist just SE of this one, & another listed as Druim Dubh on a knoll behind the house on the W side of the inlet.
