After his discharge he returned to his home in Whitinsville to followthe trade of a moulder, and has since resided there. He was active in the formation of the local G. A. K. Post, now R. Post 167, in which he has served as color-bearer, no onedisputing his right to carrj- the flag he had risked his life to save.
